I always thought a yard was three feet,
then I started mowing the lawn.

Lawn Care

1lawn-care

From rescuing an existing lawn, to completely replacing it, we can make your grass look healthy and transform a depleted patch of grass into a vibrant lawn. Whether it is through essential fertiliser treatments seasonally timed from Spring to Autumn, the manual removal of selected weeds over the course of the season or lawn condition monitoring, we can help you get the lawn you want and won't stop until you're completely satisfied.
Scarification - The process of removing surface thatch from a lawn.
Dead roots, grass clippings, leaves and organic matter all increase the layer of thatch which forms at the base of grass stems over the course of a year. As this increases in density, it prevents nutrients, water and air from reaching the root zone and provides a perfect environment for moss to flourish.

Pests and Diseases - Treatment of lawn bugs and diseases for grass lawns.
Most turf diseases are caused by the group of plants known as fungi, which are organisms which feed and live on dead organic matter. However, some fungi are ‘parasitic’, meaning that they live on healthy plants, it is these parasitic fungi which cause the most problems on lawns. Bug larvae such as leatherjackets and chafer grubs feed off the roots and young shoots of the lawn. This can have a devastating effect on a lawn.

Lawn aeration - To aerate the soil in which lawn grasses grow.
Aeration improves soil drainage and encourages worms, microfauna and microflora which require oxygen. Lawn aeration constitutes two things: controlling lawn thatch and reducing soil compaction. Lawn thatch is a layer of dead organic tissue that deprives the lawn of much-needed oxygen. Soil compaction makes it difficult for grass to root and it disturbs natural rainwater irrigation.
